value for money
my recent favourite is royal oporto 1980 rough round the edges but big in the middle i've had a few bottles now and they've been consistent good value at 14 to 18 pounds or26 to 34 dollars i don't really care what the ratings are its only a guide for the price i make my own mind up when i taste them .

recently, 1980 royal oporto not realy rated by anybody but i liked it full of strong berry flavour opening another soon.

has anyone got any information on shepherds vintage port i presume it is on the same scale as avery's,berry rudd,on the label it has matured in oak vintage 1937 shepherds label looks about right for age. thanks

i'm off on vacation to the house near bordeaux while i'm there i'll be dipping into the cellar i've ear marked for over the fortnight a bottle of de la force 66,grahams 75,taylors 80,royal oporto 80,robertsons 82,and a presidential 41 colheita bottled 78 it will only be my second presidential bottle...
