I agree if you want profits I think an alco port might have been a better bet they sell in huge numbers in the uk. :lol:

I don't mind SQVP's but the quality varies vastly from year to year even from the same mark but in general the price does not.I would like the shippers to put them out only when the quality is there.

Real prices

Try this auction site for some rare ports and madeiras http://www.bruun-rasmussen.dk and I don't find it that well priced, port has shot up in price in the last couple of years but i'm still buying Sandeman 63 for £30 a bottle Croft 63 £35 to £40.All at auction in the UK and i'm bidding against wine...
