Re: Boston Bruins

Dam it! gotta face the Bruins in the Final - statistically against the Bruins, the Canucks are 25-66-15-2. The 25 wins are the fewest the Canucks have had against any team they've played 100 or more times during their 40 NHL seasons.

Re: What have you opened this week?

@Todd: I bought more than one! - i just wanted a benchmark for later years.

I'm hoping Derek will forgive me - general thoughts are this will last a fair few years.

Re: Boston Bruins

Hi, Canucks fan here - got friends who live in Vancouver; so got initiated! Never won the Stanley cup so here's hoping we can go one better than 82/94 (although those loses were both to NY teams; so we have a hope!), although still gotta get past the Sharks and they're do have a lots of talent - alt...

Re: What Port(s) have you purchased this week?

Dom, I can recommend the Niepoort LBV 2005 - good buy, let it settle for a good 6 hours in the decanter though.. Corked bottled - i pushed my corkscrew into the cork and it slid in about 0.5 inch! So replaced it with a Niepoort Crusted Port (bottled 2007) it 's a blend of 2003 & 2005 so should ...

Re: NV Warre's Warrior Port

I like this one also - for a cheap day to day drinker - not impressed with the trendy bottle makeover with stylised horse's head (preferred original bottle) but anywho, i digress - you really need to open and leave this for a day or 2, to let the spirity nose subside, after that it's not to shabby.
