One thing I like about portuguese wines is the decision to stick to the local grapes and not try to copy the style of bordeaux or other growing areas.

While I would clearly like to try these wines, the pricing just seems to be very optimistic.
I'm looking forward to seeieng what the pricing will be like here in Denmark.

At those US prices I certainly won't be bying.

By having more vintages available prices should be lower at least in the non blockbuster years, so more people can buy ports without breaking the bank. I've seen CdP vary widely from a good year to a bad one, easily a 2x price difference. I don't track Bordeaux as much, but I know I've seen a fair ...

While you are probably right, there is also a limited amount of juice that is good enough for VP.

John, I can beat that 2003-2012 plus some 1994 that I need to drink over the next couple of years.
