I think it was filtered - I never noticed anything indicating different. and it doesnt say on the bottle that it is unfiltered. However it says on the back on the bottle that "port is a natural wine thus subject to throw a deposit when ageing".

I tasted this directly after opening, and during maybe the three or four following hours. The note i wrote down comes from that whole time-window. Today I am going to open half a bottle of Vista Alegre 30 YOT, together with my brother who had his 30th b-day two days ago.
I feel like I am the one having my birthday celebration
This will be my very first opened bottle of port, or any wine, of such high-class potential.

I am right now on my way home with 4 bottles of 1994 Quinta Do Vesuvio vp, at about 112 $ each (or 799 SEK to be precise)
Also i wanted to order in niepoort 10 year tawny but they were out
Hopefully comes back in stock some day
