The bottle is intact. Only some old wax is sitting on top of the cork. Still dry...

There was a topic earlier about 'Your favorite Year for Port'. And some did mention 1937.... The 1937 was bottled in 1978 and the 1970 (which is a rare bird this far north) was bottled in 1992. Boys night yesterday. Me and my Best buddy!
The Fonseca showed wonderfully, bit the Directors Port, bottled in 1971 (and matured in oak 'nearly' half a century) was a monster of a Tawny.
This is the third time for me with this Martinez, and it truely is an amazing port!

Andy, I understand why You are suspiscious. The bottle I just opend tonight, where bought more than a year ago - from the same auctionhouse. I Dont remember the Price, but it was not more than 65$ I only got it, because it is Roy´s year of birth... But, I have been drinking more than 100 old Tawnies...

Not really ready to open this Wine, But I had to figure out, if it was a fake bottle.
It was'nt
