Hi My Name is Tony Carter and I am from Hampshire in the UK. I have had a fascination for vintage port for many years since learning about its history. I the whole cycle of growing, harvesting, production and declaration to be 'against the odds' and yet the end product can be amongst the fines wine...

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/06/15/eha2u5yq.jpg Ben, I enjoy the pics you post... And wish I was enjoying the contents of your pics too! I was on a different point of the spectrum last night: BBQ chicken and Aveleda vinho verde, followed by Dow's 10 year. For me port is the best desert after a prop...

Re: 2011 Vintage Ports for sale
Probably after the harvest. I am not one to care about having an affect on the marketplace, others rush to gain that type of incluence and put out tasting notes they've taken from a two minute taste of a Port while looking at the producer who poured it and the label of course. Those types of snapsh...

Re: Cigars
BEN, or anyone else, any suggestions on what to look for in America? I'll smoke a cigar 3-4 times a year, but have had great success with lower end Davidoffs, Arturo Fuentes, and actually Brickhouse as well in the past, and I lean towards darker smokes. Only Ncs I smoke are opus x, Hemingway Maduro...

Re: Cigars
Big Cuban cigar fan over here. For me, a "vintage cigar" should be at least 20 years old. '97-01 cigars that are still available are quite hit or miss. Green box Sir Winstons? Ramon Allones Coronas, Don Candidos, Dunhill Monte No. 2's... must bow down. [notworthy.gif] DAMN, you sir have e...

How about some input.
I live in Sweden and all alcohol beverages containing more than 3,5% is sold by a chain of stores owned by the goverment.
