I must add the 1975 Blandy Terrantez. I am curious to see how this monster wine develops over the next days and weeks.

I wish a 2016 plenty of good Madeiras to everyone on this Forum!

Having been conceived in Madeira and born on the first of July, I could have well named my daughter Malvasia or Cândida!...

I have opened the following Madeiras over the last month:

1979 Borges Sercial
20 years Blandy's Terrantez
20 years H&H Terrantez
20 years Barbeito Boal RR
15 years Borges Malvazia

Still enjoying the Sercial, the H&H Terrantez and the Malvazia

2x 1975 Blandy's Terrantez

Tasted both side by side in Funchal last May and not being a huge fan of Boal, I'd go for the Malvazia.

I was just wondering how much of Terrantez is expected to be produced. I saw a report on TV about conversion of vineyards to noble varieties and a new Terrantez vineyard of H&H was shown. Hopefully it will go up this year.
