I’d go much longer than 1 hour. About 7-8 hours would be a good starting range.

Warre's Otima 20 Year Old Tawny Port
Cross post from the virtual TN forum While I was in Gaia recently I swung by the Cockburn's Lodge for a tasting. As luck would have it, and knowing this virtual tasting was going on, I got to try a glass of the Otima 20. Not a detailed note, as it was just a tasting sample, but... Lovely marmalade w...

Pretty hard to find wine. I did a small horizontal of these a few years ago and enjoyed them. Not cheap.

Re: What have you opened this week?
It was my 60th birthday recently and I managed to get a few friends together in Portugal to celebrate. I had to open something special so I opened a bottle of Noval Nacional 1963. But the Nacional 1966 was better than the flawed bottle of the 1963. So was the 1964 with the 1958 taking 3rd place in ...

Fonseca 80 The second of two cases of this wine that I've had. This one bought at auction and owned for nine years before getting round to opening it a couple of months ago. It was not an encouraging sight. Seven of the bottles had staining on their selos and the levels ranged from BN to VTS. Feari...

PR Grisley in Utah is Quevedo’s importer. I’d email or call them and ask who may carry it closest to you.

Re: TFP buys a wine producer
I think he's probably referring to the fact that the buyer has little or no control over when the seller decides to sell. If a high-value property suddenly pops onto the market for whatever reason, potential buyers have to act quickly whether or not the timing is ideal for them. Or maybe he's allud...

Another new article about it worth reading. Take from it what you will. But pay close attention to Adrian’s comment about making Douro table wines and acquiring a property. Hmm…an odd quote about not always controlling the timing. https://www.thedrinksbusiness.com/2023/10/adrian-bridge-high-end-bair...
