The Rare Wine Co. Historic Series are less than 10 years old. They're nice for what they are, but prefer 10 and 15 year olds more. Borges are my favorites, the 10 year old Malmsey and 15 year old Verdelho in particular.

Not going to find much better than the Borges series.

AO-SM is for Annibel Oliveiras- Sao Martinho. D'Oliverias was a partidista back then and this wine came from the family vineyards in the parish of Sao Martinho. Sadly the vineyards no longer exist. Very dark molasses color shot with gold and a greenish rim. Aromas of brown sugar, hazelnuts, oranges ...

Very good. Needs lots of time.

Probably bottled in the 50's-60's. It's an excellent wine. Terrantez is hot right now. Auction price $800-$1000. Retail probably $1500+.
