Re: What have you opened this week?
Well I like it and would happily buy more (I have 3 left). The owner, John Graham, said it could be cellared for at least 10 years. So why not but best to try it yourself.Svein CE wrote:I just bought 4 bottles of this, is it worth investing in more bottles do you think?Markus A wrote:2007 Churchill's LBV

Re: Online shopping - what and from where?
So, it seems no one else has ordered port from online shops. Since it has not been mentioned yet I can confirm https://www.vinhodoporto.nl/ Fast and secure delivery. Thanks Jasper! I have ordered from a bunch in mainland Europe. I'll add my take later this week, but also realize that people, if the...

Re: Online shopping - what and from where?
Thanks for the replies! Andy, thanks for the confirmation that the ones I have chosen are good options and actually the de La Rosa along with the Senhora da Ribeira and the Croft are in the list because they were mentioned in a "1001 wines you must try before you die" book that I read. So ...

Online shopping - what and from where?
Here it goes. I am looking for information about online shops that have been proven to be reliable. My interest is in shops that deliver to Finland, have good selection, reasonable shipping costs and time and payment can be done by credit card (bank transfer is possible but not preferred). Usually a...

Re: Lots of new faces ... please introduce yourself
Thanks for the warm welcome! Good to know I am not the only one from Finland. The prices at Alko may be reasonable sometimes but usually they are not. The selection is also quite limited, especially if you want older vintages. So we just need to order from somewhere else. Yeah the selection in Nuorg...

Re: Lots of new faces ... please introduce yourself
Hi everybody, I am 32 years old and I live in Finland. I have been a wine enthusiast for almost 10 years now. I have also been hooked on dessert wines from the start, though for some reason I haven't gotten that much into port. So time to change that since I do like them and especially after a recen...
