Roy - Todays WSJ has an interesting article on Portugal and the state of the economy althuogh they mention texile and manufacturing there was no mention of the Port trade. Can you get one of you contacts from Portugal to shed some light on how things are going over there with regard to the Port indu...

FYI - Gary's Wines still has this on the floor in their Madison, NJ store - happened to be visitng the in-laws over the holidays and picked up a case :-) - Roy I missed you at the parade in NYC (wonder why ??)

With friends its always fun but i enjoy it mostly alone - nothing better than putting the kids to bed, sitting next to a blazing fire in the winter months and enjoying a glass of port for a little down/relaxation time.

I know I'm probably not suppose to have kept these after opening them this long (a little over a week) revisited what was left in the Grham 85 last night and on it's own was OK but still not as good as the others--- will revist the 2003 croft and see what I think

being a newbie we did notice the cork to be fully stained to the top with some evidence of sepage on the Graham 85 but the cork was not popping out. Could this have caused a bad bottle ?? Same was evident on the Croft 77 but it was still showed well.

I to am in the same situation trying to figure out just what collecting strategy to follow -- ideas here are interesting - While we are talking about a drinking cellar what strategy would be best for price appreciation for the future ??? Do people have a drinking cellar and an investment cellar ???

I'll try that with reagrd to the labels -r buy more port with painted labels. I too am recording relative humidity in the 80% + range with the door closed but not sure how to reduce it in a natural cellar -(ANY IDEAS) - I closed off any air flow to the space as I discovered as we get cold weather th...
