NV Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port

This one was really a disappointment for me, I got 2 bottles because I found a good price, but the taste of alcohol really seemed to dominate the drink, and I have found so far that for me the best ports are those where no particular flavor jumps out, but rather I like those that tend to be a blend ...

10 Year Old Tawny Port by Delaforce His Eminence's Choice

This one ends up in the middle, nothing really jumped out as being great, but still had a nice sweetness with a good finish

NV Warre Otima 10 Year Old Tawny Port

I really have no complaints about this one, it surely tasted good, but didn't seem to be as deep/intricate as the other 3 (Delaforce 10 YO, Taylor 10 YO, and Noval 10 YO)

10 Year Old Tawny Port by Quinta do Noval

The first I tasted and still my favorite, had a nice blend of sweetness and smoothness. All the taste's seemed to blend together were nothing really stood out over the rest--thats what I like This tasting note is one of several related tasting notes. I have purchased from TCWC one time and had a good experience with them, I can say they do not charge a buyer's premium, so the hammer prices listed are accurate--for those interested in American prices, they have a pretty extensive history of hammer prices on ports. In fact, though I have not done ...

Multi: 10 Year Tawny Ports Noval, Taylor, Delaforce, Graham's, +

After really getting interested in Port over the Christmas holiday last year, I have been slowly but surely trying different shipper's 10 year tawny's trying to get some impressions of what I liked and didn't like on a wine that was affordable for me and somewhat readily available. Thus far I have m...

Thanks all for the quick replies and advice. I was able to find a new store locally with a decent selection of port through wine-searcher. But so far it seems shipping laws into IN are not particularly forgiving so my search for Ferreria tawny continues. Thanks again to everyone so far, I hope to co...

Purchasing Port?

This being my first post, I would like to introduce myself, I am a 3rd Year Law Student at Notre Dame and have begun to cultivate an interest in Port. However, because ND is in a relatively small town in IN without many stores with a good selection of Port, I am left with little selection of Port. I...
