Tom, I had your problem, but if you follow Stewarts advice about Cookies, it works. For me this meant logging out of this Forum. Opening the Internet explorer page. Going to tools, internet options, then delete browser history, cookies, temporary internet files and passwords. I then checked that my f...

Hi Paul , Good luck with your quest. I'm on the wrong side of the Pond, and to make matters worse, have you sen the Thread Roy started about the Port going on sale in the UK now? It had 1970 10 cases £895:00 98/100 Clearly lives up to Taylor's superb reputation. Deep ruby, with intense violet and ch...

Andy , It means I'm being set up, or stitched up. And a lot of effort is going into it. I dont want to try a young VP but Derek is giving me a glass of his, as he finds it amusing. A 'Kipper' is a Herring that has been filleted and smoked. Therefore a lot of effort has gone into it to 'dress' it up...

So back in Quincy's Lab, the Chinese bloke has sliced open a pice of Toe nail, slightly smaller thsan a pea. He couldn't test the outside, because the Alcohol had burned off the DNA from the surface. But now, yes, there it is...Quincy checks...Yes Human DNA! from the sediment of a 70year old Vintage...

I dopnt want to kick off that other classic arguement, but of course the Blender claims the Tawny is supreme. Because he has an Ego and he's made it. So he convinces himself its best. Nature gets my vote, and most of the Port World. It always reminds me of that quote, 'A Camel is a Horse designed by...

I suspect we have to be patient. I keep on having to Log out to Log back in to access Members Status on the Forum. I cant yet see 'Correct Names' when I'm Logged in as a Member and check others identity. I also cant change the time on the GMT Clock. But they hoped to have it up and running by the 1s...

You can talk in general terms, but this is a very subjective question. What do you like in a Port. I like a full bodied taste, with a few strong flavours, and a suggestion of other lighter flavours. I also love the smooth aftertaste that lingers. VP's at their best and in their prime can and do achi...

This is where you 'Trip to the Duoro' guys have me over a barrel. When they say VP isn't filtered, surely there is a process that takes the twigs and crap out of it? I always thought, it must be sieved or something, leaving small bits in it, but nowhere near as 'filtered' as the lesser ports. Go on....

If your unlucky....Yes! And it returns to your humourous answer of 'Toenails'. Anything, like that, that is solid, human hair, etc, but it would have to be microscopic enough to get past the filtering process, but big enough to have some substance to it. They are getting better at recovering DNA all ...
