Yes, this was an 1870 Teixeira Terrantez OP Brothers recorked bottle. It was the group's #2 rated bottle out of the ten tasted.

I agree with Marco-- both are outstanding Madeira, but the 1903 is a little richer.

I'm planning to bid on some of the Madeira lots. If anyone is interested in splitting any of these, please let me know.

1971 D'Oliveiras Sercial is excellent. I wouldn't spend more than $150, including shipping and delivery.
I haven't tasted the 1989 D'Oliveiras Sercial, but it's supposed to be quite good and runs closer to $100.
