Quarles Harris 10 yr Tawny. Strong nutty aromas with plum and candied fruits. Maybe even some burnt sugar on the taste and finish.

I prefer mine on the warm side, though it's all relative. "Warm" to me for a Port means ~65 degrees (18 C). I think they're richer and more full at slightly below room temp like that. "Chilled" to 60 or lower causes the palate to close down for me. Luckily I can just wait a few ...

Hello everyone. I'm Alex from just outside Chicago. I'm very new to Port. I've decided to expand my palate with Port, coming from Beer (think lambics, which has similar properties to Wine) and bourbon. Looking forward to continued wisdom and fun, that I've received thus far in my limited partaking.
