Re: 1960 Warre Vintage Port

I gave the 1960 Warre's 92 points and the 1963 Taylor's 95 points. That is the best 1963 Taylor that I've had!

Re: 1960 Warre Vintage Port

I think that the vintage is incorrect. Shouldn’t it be a 1963?

I think it was corked. It got worse over the next few days and I dumped it :( :(

Re: é possível!

I agree it's pretty rare to see a tawny leaking. Of course most of them are drunk soon after bottling. This must just be a bad cork.

2018 FitaPreta Alentejo Os Paulistas Chão dos Eremitas Vinhas Velhas - Portugal, Alentejano, Alentejo (10/1/2021) Wonderful! Appearance is Pinot-like. Med+ bodied. Super balanced. Red fruits. Would (or should) have been put down longer. Amazingly fresh for an Alentejo red wine. Comprised of 35% Tin...

This is certainly the best LBV I have ever had. I finished the remainder 2 weeks later and it was still fresh and irresistible!

I would say that it's a very balanced Port. Not too intense or powerful, but not lacking either. I'm glad it showed well for you.! [cheers.gif]

Takk Rune. I am used to it being a beast - a big angry wine that needs time in the decanter. I'll pull one from my collection soon. [cheers.gif]

Golden yellow color. Looks old, but not too old. Enticing nose. Medium/full bodied. Surprisingly fresh! Substantial citrus. Med+ finish. Really delicious now. Drink now, but will likely hold for a few more years. 92 points
