Bottled 2018. Decanted 1 hr. Deep amber colour, but still in some way transparent. Aroma dominated by citrus, oak, dust and soil/minerals. Full body. Taste is powerful and elegant, nicely round and well-integrated citrus. Good acidity/sweetness-balance. Touch of burnt sugar. Long aftertaste. 92 pts.

Decanted 5 hrs (= perfect, not more). Deep, deep dark red colour. Wonderful well-composed aroma of fruit, some anis and cherries. Medium to full body. Powerful taste together with nice elegance. 1967 Kopke Colheita port

Bottled 2016. Decanted 1.5 hrs. Although dark brown, it still had some transparency. Aroma was too much dominated by acidity and some alcohol. Full body. Taste was powerful, quite sharp, plenty of citrus/acidity. After some time it became kind of “round” in taste. Long aftertaste. 89 pts.
