I saw "dry tannins" mentioned above. I agree. There's also quite a bit of alcohol on the palate / finish. Perhaps I'll pick up another bottle or two to see what happens with one or two more years bottle age. It's not a bad LBV but I think Warre is more my style for LBV's. Here's my contrib...

Not quite as good a tasting as at Pete's but a very solid lineup, I'll get my notes up soon. I noticed one of the ladies pouring at Esquin was also at Pete's, must have been a representative from the importer or distributor.

Tongs are my favorite, I'll use them for young or old bottles but don't use them often due to the effort. Usually it's the trusy ah-so that gets used.
