What a special treat to taste such an old and rare wine. This was subtle and had tons of finesse. My first time tasting such an old port and I hope it isn't my last.

Not quite as good a tasting as at Pete's but a very solid lineup, I'll get my notes up soon. I noticed one of the ladies pouring at Esquin was also at Pete's, must have been a representative from the importer or distributor.

You gotta be accurate and I don't recommend this after you've already been drinking some Port, but I prefer this method. .44 Caliber works the best :wink: [yahoo.gif] I'd go for the Anschutz .22 bolt action rifle on a sand bag. Tongs are my favorite, I'll use them for young or old bottles but don't use them often due to the effort. Usually it's the trusy ah-so that gets used.

Nice notes and I'm impressed that you keep a Port glass in the trunk of your car!
