Just been following the discussion on the leakege problems with this VP.
As the UK agent for Niepoort , this is just to say to any bona fide UK Niepoort customer with leaking bottles please get in touch so we can honour Dirk's committment. We have some here in our cellars and it is definitely a batch problem. We are trying to establish how much of the "leaky" batch came to the UK. Dirk and I are also discussing the mechanics of replacement at present so that we can give you straight answers, suggestions, recommendations etc in due course.
On the plus side both 2000 and 2003 will deliver in time fantastic drinking!

Will customers be able to trade-in their leaky bottles for another bottle of 1997 Niepoort from a "good" batch (I suppose this is based on the ship date), or will they only be able to trade-in their leaky bottles for either 2000 or 2003?
