Bottled in 2015. 2,500 bottles produced. A dark raisin color that is more in line with "Portuguese" styled tawny's. A mix of dried fruit, lingering berries, some light tannins, and brewed tea on the palate. For a young tawny the spirit is very well integrated and balanced. A moderately long finish is consistent with the palate. This definitely trends toward that "Portuguese" style of tawny with its mix of young freshness and older dried undertones. I enjoyed this chilled on a warm evening and it really hit the spot.
