1991 Croft Vintage Port

Post by David Spriggs »

Dark color. Doesn't look old, but then also doen't look like a youngster eaither. Nice nose! Obviously vintage port. Wow! Just loaded with fruit. Very round and full bodied. All of the rough edges are gone here. Very good acidity. Very suave and drinkable. This is one of my favorite 1991's. An incredible Port that drinks well now. I'm sure it will age further and gather more complexity, so no rush. However, if you have a lot of these, then I would open one up just to delight yourself. Great Port! 94 points.

You must like delighting yourself as I don't know many people who drink this more often than you. [cheers.gif]

94 points from David is really saying something!
