1996 Krohn Colheita Port

Post by Andy Velebil »

Bottled in 2011. Light bodied with honeysuckle, toffee, baked brown sugar, tea, and some unbalanced spirit on the somewhat short finish. Tasted over two days this hasn't changed much. The palate starts off nice with some decent complexity then it suddenly drops off for a bit only to come back somewhat on the finish. A very easy drinking Tawny that mirrors the rough vintage it came from. This lacks complexity, grip, and finish and is one of the weakest Krohn's Tawny's I've had in memory.
