1997 Churchill's Vintage Port
Tasted blind. Aroma suggests deep warmth with blackberry, and some tar, but not unpleasant, marmalade, quince, and some oxidation. Slightly more developed than #8 (1997 Gould Campbell) in the mouth, but also very young with primary flavors. It is thus perhaps better integrated. There is a nice melding. 94-95 points.
