Decanted for about two hours. A little hot on the aroma, but also caramel and toffee. Very nice flavor, with a tiny bit of fruit hanging on. There was also some Christmas spice in there, not quite cinnamon or nutmeg, but somewhere in between. I thought this was going to be past peak, but now I was wondering if it might still be good for another ten years in the bottle. Very nice with a little more heat in the finish than I would have liked. But the finish was long with nice acid and tang.
Remainder, about 2-3 glasses, poured back into a half bottle and vacu-vin'ed, left at room temperature.
Next day: Body seemed lighter today. There was a bit of apricot in the mouth. Heat was still there, but not too strong. At this point I'm less confident on how much longer this will last, both what I have left of this bottle (about one glass left) and other bottles.
Somewhere on the first day or second there was also some nice brown sugar flavor. Sorry, I don't remember when.
Day 3: As per Glenn's tradition, not tasted.

Day 4: I had no expectations that this would still be any good at this point, but it was wonderful. Heat is still there, but toned down slightly. Body has returned too. Tawny dried fruit aromas, tangy sweetness in the mouth. Still a good finish. WOW!
