1996 Quinta do Crasto LBV

Color: Garnet, opaque in the center. Leaning toward purple, but not quite there.
Nose: Dusty with significant minerals. Some faint alcohol. Otherwise fairly muted.
Palate: Fruity and smooth. Good tannins, decent acidity.
Finish: Not overly long, but smooth and pleasant.

92 points. A very nice, easily quaffable LBV. I fear that my score may be a little too high, but not by more than a point or two. I'll leave it as scored, though, rather than editing after-the-fact.

1996 or 1994? Title says one thing, body says another.
