I wish there was a way to inquire about the fill level

I am tempted to bid on this, though the fact that the bid is already as high as it is and it has still not yet reached its reserve is a big turn off.

Also, seller has a mixed bag of feedback and I'm not too familiar with the auctioneer (though this bottle at a big name auction house will likely hammer for much much more, though again, who knows what they set the reserve at)

I'll probably keep an eye on it for intrigue, and every moment the bid gets higher, I'll be slightly less inclined to bid myself, though admittedly I'll always be tempted. Thanks for sharing! It's a great bottle, indeed.

Cheers,
Mark

Id love to know where you saw that. Is this bottle yours, by any chance? If so, could you tell us a little about how it came into your possession?

Sorry guys it is not mine. Just following the online auction sites.
The description mentions:
From the Kassab Collection, filling level bottom neck. Quite a lot of sediment.
In a heavy Bourgone bottle with a deep bottem.

I bought through Catawiki before, the site is legit. But the sellers are checked (through id verification), not their products.

They have added more pictures of the bottle. You can see the filling level now.

Looks like it capped out at 4900 EUR, which was below the reserve. (I wonder how much that is in drachma....) Looks like a good bottle, though. Thanks for sharing the listing link!!!

What a steal, but likely one of the oldest Terrantez bottles left in existence.
