Value of Madiera

Post by Regina I »

Just stumbled on the forum and thought you may be able to help I have a bottle of Leacock Fine Dry Sercial a cocktail madiera. Original basket wrapping, I was wondering where I could find the value or where to go. It was purchased before 1967 Julius WIle Sons & Co were the importers. Thanks for your help

A picture would help, but unfortunately what you seem to be describing was never a very expensive or high quality wine. The bottle is probably more valuable than the contents.

$25-50 at most. Eric is spot on. A bottle collector is your best bet. A real Madeira lover would only open this as a science experiment.
