N.V. Justino's Madeira Verdelho 10 Years Old

N.V. Justino's Madeira Verdelho 10 Years Old; 19.5 pabv. Importer: Broadbent Selections; bottling date unknown. Medium-deep reddish brown with plenty of tears. Vivid high-toned smoky pungent sweet neutral honied scents wth a hint of ethyl acetate; attractive lacquer notes also. Round and energetic entry with redwood flavor; medium finish with typical sweet-dry balance of this variety. Not a bad idea to decant or allow to sit in glass for an hour or two. A strong showing after several weeks on the counter top; on opening this was coarser and showed some heat but that's all resolved. Some CellarTracker users have filed this under the producer name 'Justino Henriques, which is nowhere found on this bottle that I can see. 90/100
