Portuguese Chorizo Pig

For my husband's 50th birthday recently, I bought a terracotta chorizo pig. I wrote a blog post about it here.

It's the most glorious thing - the belly of the pig is filled with alcohol and partially sliced chorizos are cooked on top. Have any of you brought one of these back from Portugal with you? :)

Very cool. I occasionally serve linguica in a similar style, but not something as neat as that!

Here's a link to the manufacturer's website in Portugal. I have a great weakness for clay ceramics and the ones from Portugal and Spain are stunning and very reasonably priced here in Sydney!

I came home with a lasagne pan that day as well...
