I had wondered why Richard chose to set up in Alentejo given his obvious interest in port so I'm glad that question got asked and answered

Not to mention his passion for Madeira, where his wife is from (she is a Blandy's family member).

I was hanging out with Richard for a couple of days in Denmark, (although he came to my Madeira event back in April) and made our way through 45-50 Ports. It was only the 2nd time ever, (since 2003) where we were together and NOT drinking any Madeira. If felt odd.
