Dr. Richard Peterson that personally groomed me how to be a professional wine judge in the late 1990s and this is the person that taught me more about tasting wine and analytically evaluating wine, than anyone else. He is still alive and his two daughters are superstars in the wine and restaurant business, respectively. My respect for this man, knows no bounds. I worked with him as a judge up until two years ago. He is the "Robert Mondavi you've likely never heard of" but his accomplishments are on that same level. Really!
