Don't figure on a response until after the op closes, plus a few days. Roy needs to return from Portugal and work with the owner to validate all orders.

One Harvest Tour down, one to go! The second tour started yesterday and ends next Sunday. I'm not sure exactly when Roy will return, so we'll probably just all need to be patient. :)

Thanks, especially to Glenn, who is absolutely correct.

The issues are simple. I do have to validate subscribers as always. I have only received one email from the importer since I am here and upon return home at the end of the month, I will be able to help the importer expedite the orders once allocations are worked out. Please be patient. This will all work itself out in due course ... soon!

Thanks for understanding.

Roy

Nope, not yet. I believe that Roy is still in Portugal (PHT2 just ended on Sunday), but I would guess that he should be returning this week.

I got an email from them last Saturday saying that once the weather had cooled down they would contact me for payment and then ship immediately.

We've had frost warnings up here in New England, is it still hot out there somewhere? ;)

Snow in the Rockies last couple of weeks. Too late to ship!
(Actually, I think I can ship if it is still above 10-20 F. And the snow level was above the highway last weekend, by maybe 500'.)

They contacted me last week and said they would get back to me for payment and shipping arrangements once the weather cooled down.

It seems this is the way of the Buying Ops, its a process that takes a little time. Always works out....no worries. [1974_eating_popcorn.gif]

Put on your "patience" hat. [foilhat.gif]

If you read above, I mentioned this would be sorted out upon my return at the end of the month. I just got back and will now work to make sure this is all squared away. Everyone will hear back from the importer by the end of next week.

Try to remain calm, although I realize this is a life and Port situation. [imnewhere.gif]

I was in touch with him today, following up on Glenn's email. I had a firm discussion with the importer and gave him 24 hours to be in touch with every person on the list ... approved for their purchase or not. I can see no good reason that we will not keep his word and assurance that he will contact anyone that he was not already in touch with.

I apologize about this ridiculous delay. All of the diligence requiring my input was completed nearly a week and a half ago. If by Friday, Oct. 16th ... ANYONE has not heard back from the importer, please email me directly: [email protected] and I will "fix" it within hours. :scholar:

I did hear back, but what I tried to order was sold out. I can't complain really.
