A different kind of wine fridge

Post by Scheiny S »

this would be awful with wine, but it could work for a few days with Ruby Reserve. or with Madeira!

I saw that and immediately thought, "My gosh, you'll have oxidized sh*t in a couple days. Though great idea for a party that one day."

Really? Someone filling their water cooler/dispenser with a different liquid qualifies as news? (never mind "hero woman" in the title, and "shared the hack" in the text). "Hey guys, I used a ruler as a back-scratcher! Quick, I must post about my incredible idea on Facetwit..."

There are refrigerators that have water dispensers that you have to fill??? Mine is connected directly to the tap with a large filter in-line...

I was in High school and we went to Hawaii where I visited the Dole Pineapple plant in Honolulu. I the lobby they had two spigots on the wall that dispensed fresh chilled pineapple juice, all you could drink. Now that was innovation.

They used to have something similar in the employee lunch room at the beer plant not too far from me. That ended when someone died of cirrhosis of the liver and his family sued the company.

Now that's the one you have to convert to serve port — 20 year old tawny I suggest. Directly connected to the source with an in-line filter.
