Decanted 4.5 hrs (probably 3.5 - 4.0 hrs is sufficient). Dark red colour. Appealing subdued aroma of oak, fruit and minerals. The terroir is showing itself very nicely in the aroma. Full to medium body. Taste is both powerful and elegant/smooth, refreshing, terroir is evident, well-structured and well balanced acidity/sweetness. Fantastic combination of berries and minerals. A classy wine where you can feel Douro all the way. Long aftertaste. 96 pts.
