Bought in Lisbon last year. Mid-shoulder fill.
Dark ruby core with tawny rim.
Aromas of mint, cedar. Very herbaceous with a touch of plum.
Medium full on the palate. Just a hint of tannins. More herbs on the palate. Fruit drying out a tad. Lots of acidity which I appreciated. Nice balance. Good length. Probably better a couple of years ago. After awhile in the decanter, the fruit plumped up a bit. Reminds me of an old Chateau Musar, sorta a cross between Bordeaux and the Southern Rhone.
91 points.
