I hate FedEx shipping

Post by Andy Velebil »

I am so angry. This Tuesday Fedex tracker shows my 3 bottles of 1970 Dow's VP left the Sacramento hub (hopefully enroute to L.A.)...its now Thursday night and Fedex still has NO idea where it is. The package has not been "scanned" again since leaving Sacramanto.

I called Fedex, several times, they now have a "Track" on the package and are trying to find it. I am sooo angry :hoppingmad: I've had more problems with Fedex than any other shipping company. They are a bunch of idiots...ok, I feel better now :soapbox:

So I finally got tired of the same old answer of "we're not sure where it is, but were traking it" (Uhh, how can you track something if you don't know where it is???) Spoke to a supervisor this morning and she was able to figure out what truck number it was supposibly loaded onto. The supervisor is now trying to figure out where that truck went and where the package is. She was very helpful and gave me her direct office number (it works I called her back) and she will be the only one handling my case until it's resolved, yeeehaw!

Now if it would just show up, I'm thirsty

Sorry for the rant

Andy,

I think I just seen a FedEx van driving past my house with a sign on the side saying "Does anyone know where AndyV lives?"

Yeah, can you say a BIG screw up by FedEx.

Can you tell the driver to just keep driving west....

I will say the manager I have been dealing with has been very nice. She has called several times to let me know the progress. Even if she didn't hear something each day, she still called to tell me she had no new news. Very nice of her.

The latest is it hopfully will be here Tuesday night or wednesday...keeping those fingers crossed.

The saga ended this afternoon. They were able to get my bottles off the truck at a stop on the east coast late last night and they overnighted it to me. I got it this afternoon and I'm happy to report the bottles are fine. Matter of fact, they appear to be ex-cellar bottles.

They are black glass, with new labels, capsules, and Selo de Guarante. They even have the computerized numbers on the capsule, that the Symingtons are using on newer releases.

Now just gotta let 'em rest for a while after their cross-country travels.
