10 year old tawny by Sainsbury's -- (Graham's)

Post by Alex K. »

Another one of Sainsbury's little delights. I like to have a tawny in as it lasts for ages after opening, goes great when it's chilled and makes a change. The Sainsbury's 10YO tawny is Graham's and having opened it today to have with a few nibbles of stilton, whilst doing stilton croutons, it matches my memories and notes of the standard Graham's 10YO.

Nice colour, tawny with an orange tinge. Alcoholic nose but masses of oranges as well. More oranges combined with roasted almonds in the mouth. Not the greatest tawny but at £11 (£8.25 with 25% off) for a full bottle I can't argue with it as a tawny to have in the house.

I don't keep more than one bottle of tawny in at a time as there is no point but this is OK and superb for the price.
I'm telling you - Port is from Portugal.
