Roy - you need to delegate.

The only practical way to sort the porn idiots is to enable a few of your regulars with the ability to delete unwelcome rubbish.

Other sites using this software platform do so, - so why not?

I agree with Tom. I have been a moderator on two other forums and it works well if there is a small group of regulars who have the ability to delete anything that is obviously inappropriate.

Stewart and I have already talked about doing this, but we would like to wait to see if the new websites software will keep the Forum protected too. Registration will be an entirely different experience that won't be able to be handled by programs and individuals will have to spend a few minutes of their valuable spammer/scammer time to find their way onto the Forum as a member now. We are less than a week away ... assuming all goes well.

Nonetheless, if this fails to prevent the nonsense from continuing, we will certainly move forward with our plan B, which has been decided on already. No more comments on this for now please.
