Tasted as a blind group of seven 10-Year Tawnies; all opened one hour prior. I had this 3 out of 7.
Opaque cherry, orange red. Cherry nose-white pepper. Raisin jelly--rather sweet. Moderate acidity.

Re: NV Quinta da Romaneira 10 Year Old Tawny
Wow, quite the bummer on this one coming in last. While it's been a few years since I last had it (I never seen it for sale near me), last time it was stunning. As in one of the best 10 year Tawny's I've had. A shame it may not still be up to that old quality.

Oops--my bad. I had this 3rd. Fixed the typo.
Seemed a bit too sweet compared to the others and the raisin flavor predominated--but still quite nice relatively speaking.

I am in full agreement with Andy on this one. I can't think of a better 10 year old Tawny off the top of my head.
