I can bring an unbroached 18 year old cabinet of Hoyo Epicure #1. 46 gauge by 6 inches.

Eric,

You had me at 'unbroached 18 year old cabinet'. This selection and your generosity is not lost on me. Thank you. :thanks:

Would one of you be kind enough to consider writing up a Guest Corner article on this tasting?

It sounds like a ton of fun and I wish I did not have a schedule conflict, but had long ago agreed to attend another event (non-fortified wine) that same weekend. Anyway, IF one of you would like to be published in the newsletter, please do let me know.

Sorry for the delay. Looks like I will most likely be in a training class for work this weekend and not able to make it. Will know for sure in another week or so and if it changes where I can make it I'll let you all know.

I'm thinking you should just take the class remotely, I'm sure we can figure out a way to accommodate a laptop set up next to your glasses!

And, yes 1PM.

Also, if you folks could park on Cascade, the street that runs parallel to our court, that would be swell.

I'll provide coffees, cheeses, and breads.

If any of you would like to bring some additional goodies, that would be great.

Fantastic gathering...ongoing Madeira, snacks, and conversation.

Dave Spriggs was Man of the Day [cheers.gif], when upon realizing that he brought a duplicate bottle of the Barbeito Mae Manuela 40 year, instead opened up a 1907 Blandy Bual. Low bar tasting suddenly became a high bar tasting mighty fast. Wine of the Day. [cheers.gif]

Thank you again to Barry for being such a wonderful host, and to David and Eric for bringing some wonderful Madeiras to share with us. I did realize after the fact we didn't end up taking a group picture of us, so I'll apologize in advance to Roy! Otherwise, I'll be sure to share my notes soon and finish the little write up.
