1966 Gould Campbell VP
1978 Croft Roeda VP
NV Rocha Old Tawny (500ml): No idea what this one is, but it was worth a gamble. It's either a basic tawny they decided to put in a smaller bottle which would be weird or one of their older blends. I can't find any reference online to this in the bottle format. The only thing I saw was what appeared to be a very old bottling from the 70's that was 750ml, so I don't think that's the same thing. Guess I'll find out when it arrives.
EDIT: Got a picture of the bottle since no one knew what it was. Turns out to be the Rocha "Three Centuries". Talk about a score for $30 I paid!!!

Congrats! I got that e-mail from Benchmark and unlike most of the wine e-mails I receive, hadn't deleted it yet; but I hadn't had time to place an order. Snooze, lose.
3 - 2003 Dows VP, $54 ea
1 - Grahams 20 yr tawny, $35.
Regret not getting a couple more of the tawneys.
Did NOT pick up a Taylor 30 yr old tawny for $92.......Seems like a screaming buy. I have never had the pleasure of trying any 30 yr old tawny, but it's still $92.

Oh wow, should have jumped on the FTLOP port buying opportunity for the 30 year Tawny.

I don't believe any of the 2011 Cockburns VP has come into New Zealand and I had thought of picking up a bottle or two in England. Was over in Melbourne, Australia on a family trip and discovered some there so managed to squeeze one bottle into my already stuffed bag. A$99.99 but as I was able to add this to another pre-planned purchase the total invoice was over the A$300 requirement to get the tax back at the airport which bought it down to A$76.50, which I was VERY happy with.
I have had my share of The original Niepoort VV. But never seen a bottle with an indication of age?
I have send some pictures to Niepoort Vinhos, and they will reply as fast as they can.
The Year on the bottle says 1929.
Anybody in this fantastic Forum, who has seen a date on a bottle of VV? And what does it meen?
