Bottled 2008. Opened the day before but not decanted. Let the wine aerate in glass for a good long time.
Dark molasses core with a gold, bronze green rim.
Intense and complex aromas with citrus, grapefruit, tangerines, oranges; dried fruits, sultanas, figs; toasted nuts, walnuts and brazil nuts; butter toffee.
On the palate, rich and mouthfilling. Huge complexity and almost painful intensity. More citrus and toffee on the palate. Lots of acidity keeps everything in check.
Long, rich, and intense finish. Just beautiful. 96 points.
