12x 1985 Smith Woodhouse VP
I love this and have had wonderful bottles and not-so-wonderful bottles. For $28.81 each, I thought it was worth a gamble. If they turn out to not be so wonderful, they'll be daily drinkers for a while.

Royal Oporto Colheita 1980. The commercial representative of Real Companhia Velha at Faro airport in Algarve, Portugal, was very convincing. :)
I couldn't find any tasting notes of that Port from FTLOP, any comments? I, however think that the history of that winehouse is one of the most fascinating when it comes to Port wine.

Ah, yeah, those can be really nice or pretty average... really depends on the bottle. Totally worth it for $29/bottle, though!

3 Dow's 2007 popped up on the K&L auction and I grabbed them.
I was also in Berkeley today and grabbed 2 bottles of 1964 Krohn White Colheita Port from Premier Cru.
I'm not sure how you can buy this at $59.95, but for those inclined there are three bottles left, from 2008.

1994 Ferreira x1
1994 Offley Boa Vista x1
1994 Quinta do Crasto x2
1994 Smith Woodhouse x1
1995 Fonseca Guimaraens x2
1995 Smith Woodhouse Madalena x2

I decided we would just start opening up some of these as "daily" drinkers.

The level of port in my house had reached a unacceptable low level so I decided to buy a couple of bottles. I wanted to keep a low budget for this while also trying out some producers I haven't tasted before.

This was the haul.

1999 Barão de Vilar Colheita - 13 USD
1999 Barros Colheita - 19 USD
2001 Maynards Colheita - 18 USD
2007 Graham's LBV - 17 USD

Anything you guys have tasted? Thoughts on the prices?

Now for the challenging choice of what to open this weekend.

Nice! Missed that one. Are you free to say what you paid? Just curious what full price is on the '52 these days.
