Bottled by Barbeito. The top of the capsule is stamped "Madeira Barbeito Vinhos".

This came from Spectrum Auctions. Somebody else had the high bid, but must have changed his mind. I received an e-mail a month after the auction asking me to pay for the bottle that I had won.

$250 plus 21%

I grabbed a 1960 Blandy's Bual in the Bay Area a few weeks ago. The price seemed reasonable but then I read Roy's only TN on this wine and it was not favorable. I'm going to crack this bottle sometime before the New Year and either confirm or dispute Roy's TN....I''ll drink it with Roy so he'll likely be able to add another note as well.

Now that I'm single AND dating...the ladies 'dig' the chance to taste such old wines, as Madeiras can be. Better than the Cougar's favorite Rombauer Chard...old Madeiras impress. Sure beats what the 'other guy' is offering.
