Garrafeira Nacional is not a good reference point on price - they're infamous for being extremely expensive, often 2x or 3x the actual retail value.

They have plenty of things at reasonable prices. I bought Colares there, and I almost bought some Unico there, as it was very fairly priced (cheaper than in Spain, and as good as some of the best US listings I could find). But they are also a specialty shop, and for those things that are specialties, they charge a premium (2x, 3x, yes). If you are looking for a particular bottle, they might be the only place that has it. Me, I'm not looking for that one rare bottle. I see rare bottles come up at a retailer or auction and pick and choose, which really helps my dollars go further than they would if I shopped exclusively at Garrafeira Nacional.
