Reading this ten years later there is probably no correct answer because their are too many variables. It seems like Noval is in a class of it's own in two ways-the first being that it always produces single quinta ports and the second being that the 1931 is close to being a household word to this day in the Port wine world. Unfortunately there are just too many other factors involved like the proportions of grape varieties that make the final blend.
