Warmer weather is here, any summer Port drinks?

Post by Andy Velebil »

For many of us summer is just starting and those warm days are getting warmer as the days go by. I never say no to enjoying a good cold Port and Tonic on warmer days, but I am looking for something new to try for this summer. Anyone have a good refreshing cold mixed Port drink I can try this summer?

Don't care if it's made with white or red Port of whatever category....let me clarify, don't expect me to use a 1963 Fonseca VP as mix, but I think you get the idea.

I'll have to find the recipe, but I had a great Port based tiki punch last weekend at a wedding. Usually don't associate ruby Port and lime, but it worked great and was delicious.
