A Year in Port

Post by Jasper A. »

This morning I read some exciting news.
There will be a documentary about Port, called A Year in Port. It is the last part of 2 other documentaries, A Year in Burgundy and A Year in Champagne.
The documentary shows the port traditions and follows the Symingtons, Taylor’s, RP and Niepoort (now that is a good line-up).

I am really excited to watch this documentary. It will be on Itunes on the 6th of September.

A Year in Burgundy and A Year in Champagne are also available on Netflix if you are a subscriber to that service. I have no idea whether A Year in Port will also be on Netflix.

I hope. The other two were good and the preview for this looks good as well.

Has anyone seen A Year in Port? What did people think about it?

I just checked Netflix and I could stream Champagne, but Burgundy was only available on DVD. And Port was nowhere to be found.

I thought it was well done. My only critique of it is they should have included less Dirk and more of other producers to keep it more balanced and less of a perceived one producer show.
