Do you have experience with this Rozes port? If so what is your take? I also was gifted a bottle of 1888 Valado A.B.H (or F) not certain which apparently they don't sell but gift in small bottles and also Adelaide Tributa, neither of which I have had in the past. Any experience with these?

Billy
I've had the Rozes a number of time. One of their better aged tawny's IMO. I've not had the other two.

recommended resources where I can expand my knowledge of port other than 'drinking' as much port as possible :-).

I know I gravitate to vintage Colheita's at this point but want to understand the entire spectrum of port wine.

Thanks for any help in this endeavor.
Have you discovered Garrafeira Nacional yet? I've only visited the store once or twice but they have always been very friendly and willing to talk to someone who wanted to learn about Port.

Vivino had a serious port offer that we joined forces in my club to purchase together to save shipping.

A case of 1980 Gould Campbell Vintage Port for 250 USD ( 42 dollars a bottle)

I chose to buy 4 bottles.

7x 1948 Suarez Vintage Port
I have no idea if these will be good, but the two bigger name bottles I've had from that year were great, so I thought I would take the risk.

2002 Smith Woodhouse LBV

Purchased in Canada to share at a barbeque event. It caught my eye because I don't think I've had any Port from 2002 before.

I didn't take a tasting note due to the setting, but it was good. Not as good as their 1995 was, or even the 2000/2001, but the family resemblance was there and it was quite pleasant.

Me either, I could not find any info on it and it was attached to the '63 Taylor, along with the '85 Rocha and Kopke 30yo.. When I eventually get to a FTLOP tasting, it's yours.

Just happened by a nice B&M store in an upscale town in NJ; just a couple ports--mostly Casa Santa Eufemia products....I ended up getting a 2009 Casa Santa Eufemia LBV.
Any Port in a storm!

I don't buy much these days but I couldn't resist 3 x Fonseca 1927 @ £265. I didn't have any Fonseca 1927 before that and had only tasted it once.
